One in every five students are bullied between the ages of 12-18 during the school year. And an even smaller percentage of that is actually reported. Kids may be scared of coming under fire of bullying themselves if they report an incident they see. Everyone has times when they feel down, but feel like they can’t express it due to feeling the need to suppress their emotions. There aren’t many resources provided to students to help with these issues, but SafeVoice has recently blown up in the amount it is used.

SafeVoice is an anonymous reporting resource that is provided to students to protect the mental health wellness of CCSD students. Students, parents, and faculty all have access to SafeVoice throughout the state of Nevada. Through the Nevada Department of Public Safety, the SafeVoice program provides a way to submit tips concerning the wellbeing of others.
